Einateca Networks Meeting 2025
On Friday 17 October, we held the Agroecological Networks Meeting in Artés, hosted by the La Dil·ligència cooperative at the La Dotzena cooperative’s warehouse. The event brought together several local food networks that are part of the Einateca Agroecological platform, such as Mosaic de Secà, BioPonent/ADV Ecològica de Ponent, the Association for the Integral Development of the Corb Valley, Econau, Enllaç de l’Ebre, La Diligencia, Mengem Bages, La Brostada and La Gatera. Also participating were dynamic organisations such as Arran de terra, l’Aresta and the Pam a Pam Network for Solidarity Economy.
At the meeting, the Einateca Agroecological project was presented to the new members, and a review was made of the work carried out at Einateca over the past year, sharing the results and evaluations of the commercial project for the “Reconnectem” catalogue, and presenting the new website agroecologiaenxarxa.cat and the communication campaign that was launched.
Subsequently, the actions currently underway by the member networks were shared, and challenges and needs were discussed to outline future strategies on:
*Commercial action and debating lines of continuity in joint marketing
*The status and potential for cooperation in the creation and networking of logistics hubs
*Exchanges of routes and stocks
*Articulation and inter-cooperation with reference projects
*Communication and promotion
*Participation and new lines of action for Einateca.
Before lunch with local produce, the Trobada we visited La Dotzena, a cooperative formed by the union of small organic egg producers from Catalonia, where, in addition to showing us the facilities… tions and processes, they explained the criteria for joining the cooperative and how this union has enabled them to overcome sector challenges together, increase their marketing reach, acquire machinery to simplify packaging and order processing… a very inspiring visit for all the participants.
🌿These kinds of encounters demonstrate, once again, the power of collective collaboration in facing the challenges of the agroecological sector and strengthening the social and economic fabric of the region.
