🎉🎉 Our project ‘Shared Machinery Bank’ has been selected for the Comunar ESS Programme.
🤝 This is an initiative by the Generalitat de Catalunya (Department of Business and Labour) which consists of a grant scheme to boost community economy initiatives that arise from the Social and Solidarity Economy (ESS) and the right to the city, with the aim of improving the well-being of local communities.
We publicly presented this programme at the Machinery Day held at the Alfarràs Agricultural School, which took place at the end of October.
🎯 Main objective
The programme aims to promote and finance community and collective projects that:
Improve living conditions in the community and promote social, cultural and environmental well-being.
Work
Are based on the values of the Social and Solidarity Economy, such as equity, participation, internal democracy and the absence of profit-seeking.
Strengthen social and community ties and local roots in the territories where they are carried out.
