The Shared Machinery Bank is a project promoted by ADV Ecological Production in Ponent for the joint use of agricultural machinery by partner entities and/or collaborators.
To incorporate a tool into the Shared Machinery Bank, two basic criteria are taken into account: that it improves the management of the farm and that it has a cost that is difficult to amortize at an individual level.
The tool must allow the application of agricultural techniques that contribute to responding to the collective needs of users. There are machines that allow to improve the cultivation conditions, the efficiency in the use of resources, increase the fertility of the sun, or the biodiversity of the farm, among others. Thus, the Shared Machinery Bank has a subsoiler to decompact in depth without altering the plant covers, a laminated laminate to be able to create cushions and protect the sun, and a vertical tiller to incorporate the compost into the row of woody crops.
The machines that are bought through the Shared Machinery Bank are those that, despite being very useful, are used infrequently at the operating level, therefore constituting an expense that is difficult to amortize at an individual level.
Partner entities and collaborators (such as research centers) can access the shared machinery in exchange for a rental, which is used to maintain the shared equipment.

'+Biodiversity' Project
Since 2009, we set ourselves a strategic line to increase biodiversity in all farms to make more complex systems and thus be able to reduce health problems in the long term. We believe that organic agriculture, and agriculture in general, must integrate elements of nature that have great benefits for the management of crops.

We started this project in 2017 with the aim of increasing the native osmia populations that are decreasing partly due to the lack of shelters and at the same time helping them to be more self-sufficient in the pollination of fruit trees and almond trees. Our breeding of "Osmia cornuta" is released every year on our associates farms.
