When we started this project we only wanted to recover a farm belonging to Anna’s family in Maldà, which had previously been planted with olive trees and which 40 years ago had been uprooted to plant cereal, with no other intention than to bring the harvest to the cooperative of the town.
But we got excited and chose to make a very high quality product, harvesting in advance and taking care of the whole process in all its moments: cultivation, harvesting, grinding and bottling of the oil and its commercial presentation.
With this goal it would not be understood that the production was not organic and so we decided in 2018 to start the conversion to organic, helped by the technicians of the ADV Ecològica de Ponent.
