I am a farmer from the Vall de Corb area, who dedicates myself to this work by tradition and by the legacy of my ancestors. The area where I work is privileged, as it has many forests, thickets and a diversity of trees among the crops. Specifically, my plots are sloped, which makes me work in a much more artisanal way.
I dedicate myself to the olive tree (arbequina), of which I have more, and to the almond tree (mainly largueta and marcona), even though I used to grow vines as well. I am from dry land and the productions are small, so I can only compete with effort and quality, less quantity more quality.
The more I worked the land, the more I became interested in how to do it better, first through integrated production, and finally starting to go organic in 2015, which had been on my mind for years. I wasn’t convinced by using so many chemicals and I wanted to be able to offer a product that was as natural as possible. In this, the ADV has helped me a lot, as it has facilitated, and facilitates, technical support like I have not found anywhere else, which has made this transition towards the organic world easier.
