We produce juices, fruit and vegetables in Alfarràs and in the Franja de Ponent. We have been doing organic farming since 2007. We have fruit trees in a country full of stones and where it is unbearably hot in the summer and bitterly cold in the winter. Here where we are, in our land, we only have two seasons, when it’s hot they walk in the shade and when it’s cold we put on the stove. Conclusion: work is tiring.
As for fruit, we have cherry, Paraguayan, nectarine, peach (yellow and red), pomegranate, fig, persimmon, apple, pear and plum. We start the campaign (if there is no frost) at the beginning of June and finish harvesting at the end of October. We also have garden products such as melons, hanging tomatoes and dressing tomatoes. In addition, we make elaborate products: pear, apple, beetroot and pomegranate juice, quince, as well as peach jam and fried tomato.
