I have been doing organic production since 2017, and due to the death of my father I reconsidered my life and resumed the family activity in a different way. A more respectful way with the people, animals and beings that make up this wonderful planet called Earth.
Being in the ADV, apart from the advice we receive through the monthly newsletter or personally with the visits, helps us to be part of a collective that works in the same direction: to work the land to grow our food respecting the environment and thus also our planet. The ADV helps us, thanks to its investigations, research work and advice, to create a better natural balance in our organic crops.
Our goal is not to have large productions, and it is not only to generate healthy food, but it goes a little further. Our purpose is to regenerate the soil, since if the soil is healthy, it will generate a living and balanced environment where our plants will also be healthy and these will produce healthy food that will have a positive impact on the health of those who eat them. . As Hippocrates said, “let food be thy medicine, and let thy medicine be thy food.”
We work what the earth offers us, we don’t extract from the earth what we want. From the almond and olive trees we obtain their fruits and make a fantastic olive oil. Apart from this, we also transform the remains of pruning into wooden objects such as spoons, kitchen tables, gastronomic supports and endless objects. Finally, we re-incorporate the leftover wood into the soil, be it branches or sawdust, helping it to self-regenerate.
