Our team has a new colleague, Felipe Martínez, who has joined us through the SOC’s programme for the integration of young people under 30 into the labour market. This initiative gives young people the opportunity to take their first professional steps, gain experience and develop their talent in a real work environment.
The Youth Guarantee programme of the Generalitat de Catalunya is an employment initiative aimed at young people under 30, with the objective of facilitating their entry into the labour market. It is part of a strategy promoted at a European level to reduce youth unemployment and improve young people’s professional opportunities.
What does the Youth Guarantee offer? People registered with the programme can access various resources and opportunities, such as:
Vocational training to acquire new skills.
Work placements or internships to gain work experience.
Career guidance and personalised advice.
Support for entrepreneurship and self-employment.
International mobility programmes to work or train in other countries.
It is primarily aimed at young people aged 16 to 29 who want to enter the labour market or improve their employability, especially those who are unemployed or need to gain professional experience.
