We’re celebrating!!🎉
🤝🏼 We have reached an agreement with Quàlia, a social initiative cooperative and a leading provider of canteen services and transformative leisure in the Lleida region, which will purchase seasonal organic fruit and vegetables directly from the producer families for its school canteens.

This agreement will allow for the supply of local organic produce to the 53 school canteens it manages — 30 schools, 3 secondary schools and 20 nurseries — as well as to the 61 canteens in total where 3,140 meals are served daily, the majority of which are in rural schools.
The measure reinforces Quàlia’s food model, which champions local and seasonal produce, and represents a step forward towards a diet that is even more rooted in the territory and committed to local farming.
👩🏻🌾👨🏻🌾 For the organic producer families grouped within BioPonent, the agreement represents a guarantee of stability and volume that will allow them to plan their crops with greater foresight, secure a stable sales channel and guarantee a fair price, as well as reduce their dependence on volatile markets.
This initiative is part of the actions proposed within the ComerBio project, funded and supported by the Daniel y Nina Carasso Foundation.
